You have a short circuit in your radio. Our Motorola's do this occasionally We can't fix them in house, the defective part is a surface mount device, we send them back to the factory where they replace the entire mother board.

Hello, i am from Greece and i represent one young and famous Greek singer. We use the psm 900 on stage and the batteries need to be replaced within one hour from the first use.So, we need to do this 2-3...

Shure's spec is that you should get 5 to 7 hours of CONTINUOUS use. There is OBVIOUSLY a problem.

First thing to check is what brand batteries you are using... some cheap ones from "C" have only a fraction of the energy content as name brand ones.

Second thing is expiration date on the batteries.

Next is to check the current drain of the bodypack with aa meter and compare to the specs for the battery. A good AA should deliver 2000 maHr.

The last thing is to realize that you CANNOT use rechargeable batteries in these devices. The rechargeables have a lower voltage and the circuitry will cut off MUCH earlier than with alkaline batteries. I would expect rechargeables to fail within 1 to 1.5 hours in this unit. As the rechargeables age, it would become much worse.

Mine is doing the same thing. So I looked it up. And it said to take out your iPod and unplug the ihome then take out the batteries from the ihome and leave it for an hour.. Then it will reset itself.. I just did it and it worked.. I also had to put in new batteries in the ihome

Whenever I put new batteries into my Canon Powershot A480, I get the same thing - I get the 'Low Battery' red flashing light. And Then as I go to take a picture it shuts off and says ; Change The Batties....

I've got the same problem with 2 A 480 canon. I put in NiMH batteries and they work fine. If you put in slightly drained used batteries they work!! Nimh batteries are 1.2 volts and Alkaline are 1.5 volts. There is definitly a problem with this camera. I measured the voltages of brand new batteries 1.51 volts each and they didn't work. I put in some old batteries 1.4 and 1.42 volts and they worked fine.

Batteries die quickly - unit gets hot

You may have a bad or shorted battery pack. You might try replacing it to see if the problem goes away. It would be normal, while charging for a battery to get warm. But not hot. Rechargeable batteries have a life expectancy of 18-24 months.

Camera will not turn on

Mine was doing the exact same thing. I'm still going to get it checked out but for now put the new batteries in it, close it and lightly hit the bottom [over the batteries]. I'm not even kidding, it turned mine on.

Batteries draining problem?

this problem can be caused by many factors. Use of the phone can drain battery life for example if you use the phone for browsing the web or as an mp3 player, even to make or recieve calls the battery life will not be as long as it would if just on standby. also if the battery hasn't been conditioned or is being over charged this can also lead to short battery life.To resolve the problem try conditioning th battery, basically let the charge drain completely out of the phone until the phone actually switches off, then charge the phone for 24 hours. Next time the battery goes ded only charge for the recommended charging time (this info can be found either in your phone user guide or by contacting the customer service department of your network provider).

LG KG800 charging problem.

Hi Robert, actually its LG and the batteries are the worst - i did the same thing with my brand new shine! You need to be careful when you start a new battery - make sure you drain it 100%, then charge for 6-8hrs, then drain 100% then recharge - after that you are good.
a new chocolate battery goes for $25-40

thanks

Batteries in my Rino 120 don't last very long

I believe its 3AA's and it SHOULD last 15 hrs of life. You should probably check the terminal heads and clean them real good you might be shorting somewhere in the connection.

S2 suddenly draining batteries rapidly

I have the same exact problem. I just now read a possible solution: try opening the battery compartment door and then closing it again to "trick" the camera into thinking it just got new batteries. There is definitely something wrong with the way the camera senses dead batteries.
