How can I replace my video card on my dv2025 hp laptop

Video IC chip is built-in on the morherboard and cannot be replaced with a video card.
You maybe be able to increase the video RAM size in the BIOS setup BUT this will decrease the RAM for the laptop by the same amount.

have the same problem. if updating the graphics driver doesnt work then it probably is the same as my problem.
HP service center said it's the graphics card or video card but since the video card is embedded in the motherboard, then you will have to replace the motherboard.

This error code is saying that either the RAM or video card has stopped working. Before replacing anything try reseating the components. If that does not work then start with a replacement video card. Video is more likely to fail than RAM. Good luck.

Most video cards on older laptops are soldered to the board, unless u have super soldering skills, and are a extremely good hacker forget about it. The newer laptops though u can, like alienware laptops, and voodoo pc ones. or even asus ones.

You can not replace the video card in a laptop, it may not even be a card, but a chip. You will have to replace the motherboard in the laptop or replace the laptop.
