i have an awia av d57 receiver i have a sub woofer the receiver indicates that its on but i am not getting no sound the sub woofer works when i connect it to the regular speakers connections this sub-woofer is not a powered sub woofer can you please help me

CLICK HERE for your manual in PDF format.
There are no speaker teminals on your unit for subwoofer.
This means the Subwoofer Pre-out you are using will not power your speaker - it is a signal ONLY for an amplifier.
So while the unit indicated the subwoofer is selected, and turned on - that is for a SIGNAL only, and the 5Volt DC Signal will not power your speakers which require an AC signal and power (measured in Watts).
Hope this clarifies enough for you.
