Question about Milwaukee Tool 10 Amp Sawzall Plus with Quick - Lok Cord

Sawzall model 6507 goes dead when horizontal. roudy45176 suggested: One of the pins for the quik lok was loose and pushing it down (way in) did not tighten it or correct the problem.

Saw blade jammed - cannot remove

Unplug from power. Spray blade locking mechanism with wd40 or similar lube. 1. If you have a quik release, work the release with a pair of channel locks while wriggling the blade. If not removed, you can remove the footplate from the saw and drive the pin out that holds the quik release in place, paying attention to how the parts reassemble. 2. If you have a set screw retainer, totally remove the retainer.

Milwaukee sawzall blade

Cut or snap the blade off at the end so you can get the holder apart. I have had to do this before. Usually you can just use a set of pliers and work the blade back and forth until it snaps off but I just use an air powered cut-off tool and cut them.

My dog chewed up cord. How do I repalce Milwaukee Model 6507 Sawzall

this should be a twist lock cord and all you need to do it twist the connector at the handle area and pull the cord off and buy a replacement, make sure whether it it grounded (3 wire) or double insulated (2 wire), you can go to Milwaukeetools.com and with your serial number look at a schematic for this tool and they also have a dealer locator to ensure that you get the proper one. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Can't get the quick-lok cord to release from sawzall

On my current sawzall I dont't have the quick lok cord, but my last one did and so does my milwakee hammer drill. To remove cord push in on cord firmly where it goes into base of saw. Turn counterclockwise and rotate about 90 degrees. Pull gently on cord base and move slightly from side to side. This should release cord. Reinstall carefully by reversing . Hope this helps you.Thanks.

Missing the blade holder thingy for sawzall cat # 6527. Thanks, Mike

Mike, is this the quik lok blade assembly and if so the part number is 14-46-1011 and if not you would need to go to Milwaukeetool.com and type in your model number but you would also need to have the serial number handy for the different versions and parts for these tools. If you want to forward it to me I will come up with a part number for you.

Sawzall goes dead when horizontal top right

could be a break in the cord or a loose terminal at the brush holder. If you are mechanically inclined get back with me and I will instruct how to find. You will need the exact model number. If this is a quick lock cord as listed unplug and look at the terminals to make sure one not pushed away from tool and condition of the plug in handles. Let me know

Cannot get blade to release from Sawzall Quik-Loc.

Will the collar on the Quik Lok Turn and if so how much? What you can do is spray some WD-40 on the mechanism to free up the collar, sometimes it gets gummed up from cutting. It should open and close with a snap, hope this helps
