Check your ground from battery. Remove it from frame and clean with sand cloth. Then check your starter switch to be sure it is completing circuit to starter. Send me more info if this doen not help. ")

New Battery in Bike, turn the key and nothing happens.

Get a test light probe so you can follow the power lead from the battery to the fuses. It will show you where power is getting to and where it isn't.

Car not starting turn key nothing happens has power

There should be a starter relay under the hood in the fuse box, get someone to bump the key and listen for it to close the circuit. the description should say PCM/ECM/STARTER something along those lines. If it doesn't click you may want to swap it for another in the fuse panel and retry. Be sure to check the fuse for the start circuit. The starter circuit is control by a module so there is no direct wire from the ignition switch straight to the starter. If you hear it click then you may want to use a test light and check for voltage at the starter (small wire on solenoid) while someone else bumps the key.

1991 suburban starter not doing anything

check that you have the starter wire on the solenoid correctly
whne you say power to the starter --is that from the battery lead or the small control wires from the ignition switch

My Jeep won't start everything seems to work inside the jeep but when key is turned nothing happens, no clicking no nothing. I have "tapped" the starter to see if that would work and stilll...

start solenoid sounds like the culprit. the start is a breeze to replace. 2-3 bolts and the two power wires. make sure you disconnect the bat. once you have it off the auto parts store should check the starter for free. have them do that befor you buy a new one. also check the fuses if the starter and fuses are good then the ignition is the final link to this puzzle hope this helps

Changed starter...new battery....lights and radio work nothing happens when turn the key.

Starter Fuse? Possible failed ignition switch. Loose Cables on battery or starter. Starter not grounding properly. Bad starter Relay? Use Voltmeter check voltage going to main starter wire while someone cranks the motor if not power check power to starter relay while cranking if no power suspect ignition switch.

Starter issues

I would first verify battery power, Once you have proper power there, either via a good trickle charger or battery replacement, I would check the fuseable links mounted right at the "hot" side of the starter. Just follow the 4 gauge wire from the battery to the 15mm/13mm nut on the starter. Make sure you have power to both sides of the wire with a test light. THis is the only wire that supplies the power for the relay fuse box. So either your not making power, or the power isn't reaching this box. Let me know how you make out.
