Hi,
It sounds typical of a partially blocked outlet hose.
Try running 2 washes with the machine empty, using a cup of washing soda in each wash and on the hottest setting. This should help clear the accumulated grease that does build up sometimes.
You may need to increase the ammount of detergent you use slightly to prevent it happening again - or do this cleaning cycle if the problem returns.

If this does not improve things, remove the machine outlet hose from the drain, and clean it manually. Messy job I know - but this is likely the fault.

The other reason may be a foreign object in the pump - this would cause a noise in the pump usually. If you have a removable filter - clean it regularly (but not all models do)

Kenmore Dishwasher model 630.1390 is starting it's cycle but then indicating it's complete less than 3 minutes later. Occasionally it runs through to completion, but usually not.

sounds like the timer is bad, or intermittent, might be cheaper depending on age to replace the whole thing. parts ( esp timers which are main points of a dishwasher are costly.)

Water not draining away, what can I do

Take out the bottom rack and put it aside. In the bottom of the dishwasher, there is a plastic strainer that screws in. Remove the screws and set them aside with the strainer. Feel around for anything in the hole which could be blocking the drain. Often labels, soapscum, food particles, etc., get in there. If there is standing water, mop it out so you can see in there. After you've cleaned out the drain, replace the strainer with its screws and the bottom rack. Try the dishwasher out by letting in a little water (an inch) at the start of the cycle, then turn it to the end of the rinse cycle to see if the water drains out. Hopefully that will fix your problem without having to call in an expert.

Cant get the cleaning cycle to end dont know how to get it off

If the red light is still blinking, then the cleaning cycle has not yet been completed. The cleaning cycle is not intuitive. So, here are my instructions.

With the coffeemaker off (with the red light blinking), pour four cups of pure white vinegar (no water added) into the reservoir. Don't short the amount. You'll need four cups to complete the cycle. Remove any filters, but leave the strainer basket in place. Tap the "select" button three times until the red light is on (and stays on, not blinking). The cleaning cycle now begins. It should take between 45 minutes and an hour to complete. Don't be concerned about the 30-minute long pause during the cycle when nothing happens. This is intentional and part of the cycle.

After the cleaning cycle has completed, get rid of the vinegar. Rinse out the strainer basket and the coffee pot. Run a full pot of clean water thru a regular brew cycle (with the pot and basket in place, of course). Then, dump the water, rinse the pot and basket again, and run another full pot of clean water thru a regular brew cycle. Dump that water too. And, you're done!

Model # jwx23 mr coffee cleaning instructions

I couldn't find any model JWX23. So, since your question (as much as it is) is categorized under model JWX27, I'm going to presume you need the cleaning instructions for model JWX27.

With the coffeemaker off (with no lights on or with the red light blinking), pour four cups of pure white vinegar (no water added) into the reservoir.

Dishwasher runs about 3 hours

First check the inlet water flow into the machine. There is a strainer attached to this. If it is clogged water filling into the machine will be delayed!

Also check whether using the same wash program as you were doing earlier. There can not be any other fault aprt from this. i presume the wash quality is good.

Heance clean all the water inlet and outlet for free flow.

Water does not drain from GE dishwasher.

Remove the drain hose from under the sink to verify that there is no clog. If the dishwasher runs in the "cleaning" cycle, but won't drain, you either have a clog or a bad solenoid. All the solenoid does is opens a little door to change from cleaning cycle to drain cycle. This part is VERY EASY to change. Definitely a project for DIY. The part runs around $60 from a parts place. Check ebay if you do not need it immediately and you can save abt $30.
