I acnt find where music is from the sd card on my env2

your music is stored on your sd card? always make sure you turn off your phone when you insert or remove the card so as to not damage the card. To listen to music, you go to your media center, choose 1. music & Tones, then 4. My music and then pick a category ( Genre, Artists, Albums, Songs, Playlists, Inbox, Play all, shuffle)

Putting Music on LG enV

If you buy an SD card for your phone, you can put it in your computer, transfer the songs you want over, and then put it in your phone. The music still plays through VCAST, but you don't have to pay. :]

Get pictures and video off phone to the computer

Preparation ? if an external Micro SD external memory card is to be used as the desired music/video/picture repository on the W755, install the card in the W755 behind the battery. Then go to SETTINGS & TOOLS ? MEMORY ? CARD MEMORY ? FORMAT and format the new card. Caution: reformatting the card will wipe out all contents on the SD card. Download/install free Motorolla Handset USB Driver Installer onto the PC (execute ?.msi? file). Download/install free VCast/Rhapsody software (no need to actually sign in or use the proprietary Rhapsody service). Start the VCast/Rhapsody software. Turn on cell phone (works with W755 and may work with other Verizon ?music phones? such as LG Chocolate, but the latter was not tested). Connect phone to PC ? connect USB cable to PC?s USB port first, then connect USB cable to phone . Be patient, it may take a minute to fully ?connect? in the phone?s display. Go to ?Sources? section of VCast/Rhapsody GUI screen ? the phone will register as a directory title using a name roughly like ?VCast xxx.? Windows Explorer will also show a ?VCast? drive/directory device. Files can be selected and dragged to and from source and target directories. At this point various options exist regarding music, picture, video management: 1.) The VCast/Rhapody software can be used to manage music, picture, and videos between the PC and phone. Again, no need to use the VCast service, just the software offline. 2.) Alternatively, other music management software such as Media Monkey (a personal favorite) can be used to move music, create playlists, etc. ? NOTE: Leave VCast/Rhapsody software running in the background as a means to ?connect.? It is best to start VCast, then plug in phone, then start other media management software so that the media management software will benefit from the connection (usually with a directory name using some variation of ?VCast.? Then use the alternative media management software as usual. Please note, this is a generalization based on success using basic software like Media Monkey, for example.

Micro SD problems

You must Have All Files In the my_music directory with NO sub directories. And as said before YOU HAVE 32 Characters. Most of your Mp3s will have a tag on it that will tell you (the phone) all the info you will ever need to know about a song. Some day lyrics.

Unable to download any songs,or transfer any songs from any other branded hanset(like.,nokia, motorola, etc)

You need to have a micro SD card in order for it to hold more than 12 songs. If you dont you have to use Vcast from Verizon to download them to your phone with the cables provided from the music package.

LG CHOCOLATE VCAST MUSIC TROUBLE

Vcast will only find certain types of files. It will not recognize many formats that you may be using. I'm assuming this is the problem here... If you can find the songs you want to have on the phone you can then convert them to MP3 with a converter and place it where the Vcast software and then it should work.

Music player and micro sd card

I have found that mine didn't recognize songs if the name of the song was too long. Try going into Windows explorer (with the micro sd card in the computer) and rename at least one of the songs as a test. If that song is recognized by the phone, go back and shorten the names on the rest of the card. Good luck!

Music

Well the easiest way to do it would be to download the vcast song manager. Here is the link: http://www.vzam.net/vcastmusic/ copy and paste and go to get started. It will install the phone's driver then you have to select the model. After that it is pretty much straight forward. You must have Windows media player 10 or above though. p.s. the phone alone will allow up to 10 songs, for more you must buy a micro Sd card. Search Amazon for one.
