Hi,
I ma trying to connect my gestetner DSM415f to my home network. I have the wim open and hve pinged to be sure that it os being picked up.
I am trying to set the machine up to scan. I am operating windows xp and have set up a shared folder, net bios is on also
Have been at this for 8 hours need help quick

Folder must be fully shared, (full control for everyone.) create a user name and password that has admin priviledges. Enter this info in Config>File transfer>SMB.
Enter the path to the folder in the address book, in this manner> \\name of computer folder is on\name of directory\name of folder.
