Remove the cold inlet hose at the machine (faucet off first) (catching run out water in a bucket), and place the hose end in a sink or bucket. Turn on the faucet again, water should run out with normal force. If not, clean the hose inlet screen (looks like a hose washer with a cone shaped screen molded into it). If the hose works normally, check the machine's inlet for a similar screen being plugged. Hope this helps.

No hot water pressure

These types faucets have a what is called an anti scald valve build into them, it is required by law, it is either defective or out of adjustment, contact a local hardware store for more detailed info.

Cold water slow to fill

It buzzes because 120 volt AC is within the hearing range and means electricity is trying to open the solenoid plunger.Make sure the faucet the hose is connected to is turned on. swap hot and cold hoses and see if the Hot water is now a trickle. The solenoid asm that the hoses connect to can be removed and dissambled. It's a no brainer. the parts are mirrors of each otherBe sure to unplug the washer first. Remove the hoses at the solenoid assembely the valve asm has wires coming to it that just push on. A loose connector MIGHT cause this problem. Draw a picture of the wire connections, noting the color of each connection. Now the fill solenoid asm can be removed. It's probably held to the cabinet with one screw. now there are some screws holding the coils to the plungers. disassemble the valve and clean it up. Don't lose the springs that push the plunger to the closed position. At this point you could even swap the plungers on the asm. Just clean the obvious lime and **** upp using a tooth brush and water.DON'T LOSE THE SPRINGS,DON'T EVEN WASH THEM. Assembly is just reversed.you should not have to buy any parts, but don't lose the springs.

Slow cold water flow won't go back to full flow

I think the water inlet valve is nearly stopped up with sediment in the screen filter where the supply hose screws to the valve.Cut the water off at the hose and disconnect and look for the screen. The hot water usually doensn't do this because the water has time to settle everything out while it's in the hot water heater.

Cold water good for a few minutes then slows to a trickle. Shut off for a few hours and cold water good again for a few minutes. Inlets are clear. Is this normal behaviour for a dying valve?

Yes, it will fail soon. it is beat to go ahead a order a new inlet valve assembly asap. the pressure sensors that are housed in the valve assembly are failing.

Water barely trickles out for rinse cycle

Hello,

It sounds like you have some buildup in the cold water valve screen. Where the hose connects to the washer there should be a screen inside the valve. Remove the cold water hose from the washer and clear any debri on the valve screen.

If this doesn't fix the slow cold water flow then you will have to replace the whole water valve assembly. The water valve is the piece that the hoses connect too and supply water to the washer.

If you have anymore questions about this please ask. I will be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks
