Question about Nokia E75 Cell Phone

Open Question

My E75 Navigation key sticks then freezes, it would not move.

Navigation key sticks, sluggish operation then it simply would not move at all. i did turn it in to Nokia so called Care center for the 2nd time within a week time with same fault not fixed. it is still there. i think it is a hardware problem with the NAV key button itself yet they say it's a software problem, we will see.

Frozen cursor

The only reason your cursor would "freeze" is your CPU is running at 100%. Press "control-alt-delete" keys at the same time and find the process that overloading the CPU and close it.
If you cursor never moves, your glidepad is broken. Do you have a "stick" to move your cursor? Many Thinkpads do. Usually have a red cap on it and is located near the b g h keys. If the stick doesn't work either, it's the overloaded CPU problem.

The navigation keys on my nokia e75 hangs, how can i rectify this issue please?

Try resetting the phone, but first reduce the load on your memory card. Note that every phone has its own memory limit, just like computers, ok?. Now, on idle screen of your phone, type: *#7780#.Take care. Obinna

I have a E75 handset since Oct 2009.I am facing aproblem since this morning that the phone is hanging ( screen not responding and does not take connection).I removed battery couple of times to check..still...

If your phone not responding, I think you should reset your phone. But before you do this, make sure you have put off your SIM and memory card from the phone, and make a back up of your data.
There are three steps of resetting the phone :
Nokia E75 Soft Reset:
This option restores the .ini files from the ROM.
Does not erase data (photos, videos, documents) nor applications from a third party. Key Code *#7780# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard in the mobile)
Nokia E75 Hard Reset:
This option restores the original operating system from the ROM.
Formats the C: partition and deletes all data including the memory card. Key Code *#7370# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard in the mobile)
You can also achieve Total Reset by pressing and holding down following keys: * + 3 + Green Button (call) immediately after turning the mobile on.
Note: To proceed to reset, the battery must be full and the
mobile device connected to the charger. If during the course of reset, the mobile stop receiving electricity it can ruin the internal flash memory of the mobile device and stop function.
