Question about Yamaha RX-Z9 Receiver
My z-9 is not working properly all of a sudden. I can not get any sound from any of my optical inputs...the z9 is stuck in analog....I tried to switch to auto but it keeps saying analog..and the only speakers lit on the display are the right and left
Have You ridden the manual? There is a special procedure to assign the priority order.

If your receiver is saying you only have analog, it must not be able to see the optical input. Check your optical cable, maybe it is damaged or not tight.
