Question about Dishwashers
Either a piece of tableware has penetrated the intake screen at the bottom under the lower spray arm, and the pump impeller is damaged, or the pump motor underneath the deck has a bad bearing and must be replaced. Remove all components including the lower spray arm down to the bottom deck. Note the position and orientation of each piece as it is removed. When you get to the bottom, there should be a pump impeller that is connected to the motor underneath the deck. Turn the impeller by hand and see if it is noisy, or moves side to side indicating a bad motor bearing.
