SOURCE: sharpen hedge trimmer blade??

My trick is to make sure that I always lube the blades after each session with a 3/4 engine oil + 1/4 kerosene mix - making sure that every tooth gets a drops or 2, then run it for a seconds to spread the oil & leave the blades overlapping. Doing this allows the blades to self sharpen I've found. 2 stroke oil , unmixed is about the perfect viscosity aswell.

How do the fuel lines in a weedeater trimmer pe550 hook up inside the gas tank

I have an older model that has a weighted filter in the tank. The filter flops around and can 'fall' into the fuel no matter which way you tilt the trimmer/tank. You should have one in your tank. Feed in the new line and make the end come out the gas cap. Push the filter/weight into the end of the fuel line. Pull the extra fuel line out of the tank to match the original position. You should have cut the new line to approximately the proper or same length as the old fuel line with an angle cut so you could push it into the tank.

Why does my craftsman bushwacker hedge trimmers not go fast when I have it full throttle?

if engines stumbling when at full throttle , ck to see that your getting full fuel flow ( lots of bubbles in primer bulb are a sure sign of not a good flow) , locate the fuel filter inside fuel tank , ck it for a dark color ? if so replace it , also try adding some normal car fuel system cleaner to your fuel next time u run it for a few minutes , this helps to loosen stuck deposits inside the carb

Craftsman 22 in. electric Bushwacker hedge trimmer handle is broken where can I get part number?

Call your local sears store for their national parts department 1/800 toll free phone number.

Then write down the MODEL number [and a serial number if available]. Then call the parts department, give them the model number and they should be able to give you the part number.

Just to be as fully prepared as possible, have the actual trimmer with you during the calol so that you may be able to answer ID questions the parts tech may ask.

Repairing fuel line on craftsman 32cc weed trimmer.

Cut the end of the line at a sharp angle. Spray WD-40 on the line and fuel tank hole. Slowly screw the line in the tank far enough so you can connect the fuel filter if you are replacing that line. If not just push the line into the tank if you have a two line system. Remember on the fuel primer, the long tip has the line going to the tank, and the short tip has the fuel line going to the carb.
