Ok I have this figured out, if it's the A-101a dock, with the power turned off, double click the MEM/SET button, that will get you there! Choose from format first (24/12 hour time) then click again for hours and minutes. Took me ages, just figured it out!
I had the same problem with a another sound chamber unit but figured it out. there should be a radio buttton somewhere to turn on the radio, make sure AM/FM is set, the volumn is up and the tuner is on a station, make sure there is an antenna wire if there was a place for one.
next, try to figure out setting the time, and then the alarms one at a time. the calender thing, that's a bit harder! they are great clocks, but tough to program.
I have the same problem. The only way I can figure out how to reset the clock is to take out the batteries and put them back in at 11:59 pm or midnight. Replacing batteries reset the clock to 12:00 am. So if you do it at midnight, you'll end up with the right time. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to actually set the clock using the availble buttons.
According to the instructions that we received with our clock. You should be able to get the Instruction manual from firstname.lastname@example.org. It is also supposed to be under the support section of the website www.dpi-global.com but I couldn't find such a link.
However the "Operational Support" insert has the following:
Setting the clock 1. With the unit powered off, press and hold the "Clock/Display/Play/Pause Button" for at least 4 seconds. 2. While holding the "Clock/Display/Play/Pause Button", press the "Hour" and "Minute Buttons" to adjust the hour and minute on the time. 3. When the correct time is selected, release the "Clock/Display/Play/Pause Button" to set the clock
Setting the Alarms 1. With the unit powered off, press and hold the "AL1" or "AL2" Button for at least 4 seconds. NOTE: An alarm icon will begin to flash on the LCD display.
2. While holding the "AL1" or "AL2" Button, press the "Hour" and "Minute Buttons" to adjust the hour and minute on the alarm time.
3. When the correct time is selected, release the "AL1" or "AL2" Button to set the clock.
4. Press the "AL1" or "AL2" Button consecutively to switch alarm one and alarm two between sounding to a buzzer, the currently set radio station, or a docked iPod.
I did not find my manual, but this worked for me. Set the clock to be a 24 hour clock by pressing and holding the Memory/Clock Adj button. The display will show 24h or 12h. Use the fast forward button to change from 12h to 24h. Press the Memory/Clock Adj button again and use the fast or reverse forward buttons to change the time to read, for example, 13:00 instead of 1:00 if the time is 1pm. Press the Memory/Clock Adj button again to set the minutes. When you are done setting the time, press and hold the Timer/Sleep button. Either a time or "0:00" will appear in the display with the word "TIMER" flashing above it. Quickly press and hold the Memory/Clock Adj button until the first digit in the time starts flashing. Set the hour that you wish the alarm to sound using the fast or reverse forward buttons, just like you do for setting the time. Press the Memory/Clock Adj button again to set the minutes, and one more time to finish. The word "TIMER" will stop flashing and go solid, and the display will return to the time of day. When the alarm sounds, you can hit Snooze which will give you 5 more minutes, or you can turn the Clock Radio off. Pressing the Timer/Sleep button again will turn off the timer (alarm) and pressing and holding it again after that will turn it back on.
