Question about Video Cameras
The 03 Error on this JVC Camcorder is what is known as a "No supply reel rotation" error
This problem is caused by either
1) Defective reel tables, or
2) A defective rotary encoder inside the camera itself.
Unfortunately it is not a user serviceable issue and the camera will require service attention.
You can expect to pay $150 - $200 this type of repair so sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
You can try removing the battery for 10 minutes or so to see if there is any resolution although this is unlikely to happen with this type or error.
Hope this helps. Please do rate my answer. Many Thanks.
