It won't stay centered which is the position for the water to drain in the tub. It pops up all the time.

If you remove the two screws and pull the plate away from the tub you may find that the inner mechanism is worn, broken, or dirty. Cleaning or replacement should restore proper operation. There may be a problem with the drain plug, in which case disassembly from the back of the tub will be necessary

Will not empty water

Hi.

If the machine does not drain you usually have drain blockage. Clean the drain well at the bottom of the tub. remove and clean filter and assembly parts. Make sure that the drain hose at the back of the dishwasher is not kinked.

Several Miele dishwasher uses a pressure switch to determine the water level. A defective pressure switch may prevent the machine from starting.
If this model uses a pressure switch, the switch will be located in the drain line. When a pressure switch is defective the machine should return an error code. Here a picture of the pressure switch:

If that does not fix the problem the pump located under the bottom panel must be tested.

The dishwasher won't drain completely. Water is left standing in the bottom of the tub.

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

Front loading washer, kenmore 417.42052100 won't completely drain and leaves a tub full of water. Has been getting worse over the last week and now won't drain at all. Took off front panel to try...

The drain filter/coin trap is blocked or the pump is no longer working. The filter/trap is located inside the big black hose that runs from the bottom of the tub to the pump and hence the name tub-to-pump hose. Clean the filter and inspect the pump impeller for damage or restriction.

Disconnect power then remove the screws attaching the bottom front panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off. Once the panel is off, you can now loosen the clamps securing the tub-to-pump hose to the bottom of the tub and the pump's inlet then take the hose out and clean the filter/trap.

You should find foreign objects such as coins, toothpicks, hairpins and the likes blocking the filter. Clear the filter from the foreign objects and inspect the pump impeller by turning it with your finger. The impeller may be restricted or damaged resulting in the water not being pumped out properly or none at all. Replace the pump if the impeller is broken or restricted and doesn't turn freely or if the pump is no longer operational. You can tell the pump is no longer operational if all are clean and the impeller is in good shape and turning freely. Reassemble the machine by following the steps above in reverse order.

When installing the filter in the coin trap, the top ring of the filter MUST be seated in the 3rd convolution from the bottom.

I am replacing a bathtub lift and turn tub drain w/ the Danze lift and turn tub drain conversion kit- how do i remove it from the part that stays in the tub? I just want to put the pull into the existing...

Hi,
Unless you can get to the bottom of the tub either through the floor below or the wall in front of the tub.... you do not want to do that...
To change it you may need to change some of the piping to the tub drain....
It is possible that you can take a needle nose pliers and turn the tub piece out by sticking the pliers through the webing in the tub drain and turn the CCW also.....but if the bottom piece is not the same thread.. or the piece moves... you may not be able to get the new piece started and then your in BIG trouble...

Hi My mw512 fisher paykel washer won't Drain, how do i remove the drain pipe at bottom of tub? it won't seem to just pull off, des it need to be turned? cheers Michelle

I have a model 11, but I believe they are the same. The end at he outlet of the pump actually has tabs on it. Just twist and pull. Make sure the tabs are ligned up with the slots before you pull too hard.

When driaining out water comes out

Where does the water come out from? From under machine or where the drain hose hooks to the drain. If it is coming out the drain where the hose hooks the drain is most likely stopped up. If coming from underneath could be a hose or the pump leaking. I have seen something like a screw get caught and wear a hole in the tub. Check around the bottom of the tub if there is water leaking around the bottom of the tub could be the tub seal is bad. Hope this helps.

Where?s the filter on my GE WSXH208A Front Loader? Thank you beltronic205 (GE WSXH208A Front Loader won?t drain). I drained the tub by lowering the drain hose as suggested. But where is the filter, what...

There is no acutal filter on this unit...You cab remove the back panel to access the drain pump ...Or tilt the washer back and access it from the bottom...Remove the drain hose from tub to drain pump...(careful of flow of water from tub)...Check the hose for any blockage...If no blockage then your pump is bad..

Water still in bottom of tub after drain/spin cycle

I removed the drain hose from the bottom left rear corner of the washer & cleaned a large amount of gooey sludge from the bottom of the drain inside the washing machine.
