Question about Nokia N73 Cellular Phone
My father had bought my Nokia N73 from Khobar Saudi Arabia in April 2006. I was living in America I didn't start using my cell phone until December 2006 so it has only been about a year. I downloaded some free themes from http://gallery.mobile9.com/c/nokia-n73-themes/1/ and everything was working fine until about August 2007 I started having some weird problems.
First all my pictures in my gallery had disappered. When I go to look at my pictures and videos, it was as if they had been deleted. When I looked at the memory in my phone it said that there was 245 MB used out of 1 GB. I was upset that everything was gone so I tried hooking it up to my computer and everything was still there so I knew they were in my phone somewhere. I found a way to look at my pictures in LifeBlog but its annoying to go through all of the texts I had sent and recieved and go back so far to find the pictures and stuff. Why arent they in my gallery?
Second, all of my ringtones and music I had in my tracks were gone too. I can still change my ringtone and everything when I personalize my profile but I cant listen to them when I want to in Gallery. I can only listen to half of my songs when I go to Music player. Why did this happen?
Third, after all my pictures and texts were gone I noticed that my texts were diappering too! I had saved some special texts in files and they suddenly had deleted and thy are no where to be found in my phone at all and also my inbox had been deleted also. Why did this all the sudden happen?
Everything is still in my phone just I cant get to them when I want to! I have downloaded themes from that website when I had Nokia 6680 and nothing like this had happend. Why did this happen to my new phone so early? and what can I do to fix it? I live in America, they dont even have this phone here out yet! I dont want to take it to someone that would charge me alot when they dont know what they are doing.
Please help me!
Hi there Nadia.
to solve your problem back up first your pictures and musics and contacts to your computer just leave those application installed maybe that's the cause to your phone.
now format your memory card.
after you format the memory card you can now copy it back your pic. music and contacts to your memory card.
next power off the phone.
then press and hold key call button and key * and key 3 simultaneously then press and hold too power on button wait till nokia appears
to know that you succesfully format the phone
when the phone starts up the first to come out is the time zone,
if not try again to format the phone.
