undo the case with the two screws and disconnect the main battey and the back up battey and put it back together. this fixed the problem with audio and not turning on.
I dropped my 760 nuvi into the dog's water bowl... (by accident of course)...
It was working but would shut off and eventually would not start.
Using the correct screwdriver with the star head, I removed the two tiny screws at he bottom back of the unit. Gently from the bottom, pry off the back.
Be careful as the battery pack and the speaker wire are still connected.
Using a hairdryer on Medium heat and high fan, air out the unit until all water/condensation is gone.
Before putting back together.... check that the unit works, and charges by connecting thusb to a computer.....
Once content it is working, snap the cover back together and screw in the 2 screws.
Attach the window mount to your GPS unit ...it clips into the bottom. Insert the power supply into the mount on the right side. Of course plug it in to your power supply in your vehicle that is hot or turn on your cars power supply
