Pantech Breeze C520 will nor charge

It's worth trying another battery.

Is your sim locked with any particular network?I suggest you can approach Unlocking4u.com and remove the network lock easily from your Pantech P2000.I was not able to get a free unlock service for the mobile model that you have specified.

No... taking it apart .. unless you KNOW what you are doing is not smart.. take the battery out.. when the sun is out and there is NO chance of rain..sit it outside in a bowl of uncooked rice.. it will dry out.. you might have to clean the contact surfaces where the sim card goes.. With the battery OUT.. use a magnifying glass (this is a tiny area and a tedious undertaking) and a long sewing needle to lightly rub the contact surfaces to remove any corrosion.. make sure the contacts are clean and reinstall the sim card and battery,,,

Pantech C520 is a very temperamental phone and without the handset in front of me I can only give you a few things to try.

Pull out the SIM card and clean the contacts on both the card and phone. Lightly rub the contacts using a pencil eraser. Replace the Sim card and battery, try to make a phone call. If that did not work place the SIM card into an unlocked phone. Working in this phone then either your handset need to be reset (master) or is broken. Not working in the unlocked phone means your Sim card is bad and need to be replaced.

i think ur phone is not unlocked completely, try codes from http://www.superunlockcodes.com/ to unlock your phone completely

Power button needs to be depressed for several seconds to activate.

make sure the pantech breeze is charged up and the phone.Press the button on the headset and hold it until it starts blinking then you go to your phone and press menu then go to tools and you should see add a new press it and then you press headset an it will find it.If it do not find it repeat the process

go to any cell-phone dealer and ask for a replacement battery for your model pantech
