Probably sediment inside broke loose. Let it go for best results.

If it is obvioiusly from the motor, Id suspect a plastic shield from the start capacitor is loosed and rubbing on the centrifical switch.

1995. Why does it make a loud whining on start up?

Whining would be the pump or low fluid. Squealing would be a loose belt.

FFBD2411NS makes loud whining noise after water is pumped out and continues until pump stops.

Thank you for your inquiry, Robert!

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher makes a whining noise after the water has been pumped out. This could be a potential issue with your drain pump or motor. To pinpoint the issue you would need to disassemble your dishwasher and test each component and this would best be done with a certified technician. This will help you avoid personal injury or future problems. Best of luck! -Matt

I have Hayward Centurian SE 2 hp pool motor pump, around 15 years old. Just the other day it started making a loud whining noise. Is there a quick fix for this?

if its whining but still spinning, the bearings are done. If it just makes a loud noise, the capacitor could be bad or the bearings have seized.

Very loud pump. Sounds like a bearing

if it's whining really loud, it's definitely the bearings. If its not spinning and just making a loud humming noise, it may be a bad capacitor or something lodged in the impeller.

When running it makes a loud noise

Your bearing are failing. Replacing them and the seal at a local electric motor repair shop will likely cost around $50.

Dishwasher Making Loud High Pitched Noise.

A loud high pitch whine while running the dishwasher means that there is something caught in the chopper assembly. To get to the chopper assembly you need to take the racks out and take the pump apart from the inside of the dishwasher. The chopper assembly looks like a metal grate with holes in it. And it might not even be stuck in the grate but somewhere in the pump area due to the water being pumped out, so the best idea is to take the whole thing apart and clean everywhere. However I do not recommend doing this unless you are completely certain you will remember where the screws and gaskets go, otherwise you risk damaging your pump or house from a leak or improper installation. You have been warned.
