Bleach is eating holes in my clothes. With top loaders, the bleach is mixed in with water before clothes are added.. seems that with front loaders the bleach is just being deposited directly onto clothes?

Add your bleach with less potency but make sure you are putting it where it is suppose to go and when you are supose to add it , it makes a difference.

Can I use bleach --if so how do I add and how much

you add bleach to the detergent and wash the garments in both. So start filling the washing machine drum, add the perscribed amount of detergent, then add the bleach, let the 2 agitate together and then add the garments. This dilutes both so that they don't damage your clothing. usually it tells you on the package how much to use, however usually a "Cap Full" will do...

How do you clean the inside of your Front Loading washer?

This can be accomplished by running the washer empty for a quick rinse cycle. Add an entire cup of bleach at the start of the cycle. The bleach is effective at destroying organisms, such as mold and bacteria. However, running it once will not be completely effective. I suggest pouring another cup of bleach into the wash tub, after the cycle has completed. This will leave bleach as the standing pool and should prevent the growth of mold or bacteria. However, if you do this, before doing a load of laundry you should run an empty rinse cycle again, to avoid damage to the clothes from the bleach left standing in the wash tub.

Bacteria causes odors. Try running a load without any clothes on HOT and add a cup of bleach to the soap dispenser. In the future use the hottest water the care tag on your clothes will allow. Use bleach as often as possible. If it's a front load washer, make sure you are using HE detergent. Non HE detergent will suds up and the suds could potentially remain after the wash and create an odor. If you don't like to use the hot wash or bleach on your clothes, then you may need to run a load once a month as described above. There is also a slight chance it's coming up from the home plumbing. Make sure the home plumbing is draining fast enough, but ultimately the bleach you use in the washer will run down the drain and help keep it from causing an odor.
