The solution solved the problem! I'm not surprised but very pleased because I thought I'd have to buy a new Canon all on one. Good job!

Plug into an outlet directly, instead of a power strip.

Be certain that the power cable is snug.

Replace the power cable.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

Well first of all you disconnect all the cables connected to your printer like usb cable and power cable. turn it off then try turning it on after 15 minute. if further you have the same problem means there is some hardware fault in your printer, it will need a repair. tell me is your printer works fine except that problem?

Thanks

Check that the LCD screen adjustment has not been dimmed or darkened. If that is not the case, then a component is or has most likely failed.

Hello, I have a CanonMX700 printer. Out of nowhere it began printing blurry and slanted text. How do I fix this?

Most Canon printers have an auto-align feature. You should actually be able to do this from your printer page on your computer. Also make sure your cartridges are all clean, which can also be accomplished from the same place.

ViewSonic LCD (VA1912w) Went Blank

I am using this great LCD for about an year. But few times in the past my LCD didnt show up the display though the Green light was still ON, turning off the LCD and opening it again always solved the problem. But now My LCD completely went blank. Turning off/on didnt work at all now. I've tried couple of other tweaks mentioned on this site but they didnt work. I am just seeing a blank screen with green light ON. and ya theres a very low hissing sound coming from the LCD.

Blank LCD screen on shooting mode, but does show settings. Will not take pictures. Replaying mode works, shows pictures taken before screen went blank. New batteries. What is going on??? Is it...

The Display button manually turns the LCD display on or off to save batteries. If you accidentally had turned the LCD off, It should only take one press of the button to turn it back on and leave it that way. As such, it's not you but the camera. The A570 IS is relatively new. Your camera is likely still under warranty. If so, contact Canon for warranty repair (see the following link):
