A search on google will most likely yield the easiest results. search for 'ceiling fan capacitor' also adding the information on the side of your existing capacitor to the search query will probably make things go a little faster. you could spend anywhere from $3-$30 + shipping

Can anyone tell me where the relay is to the fan on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country?

look and see if there is a black box under the hood, located on the drivers side, the box should say power distribution, look inside, there are fuses and relays, and 1 of them is the fan relay, look on the inside of the cover to the box, it should tell you which one is the fan relay.

I need to replace the remote control (UC7083T) of my Hampton Bay Sidewinder 54 Ceiling fan. Could you pls tell me where to buy one? Thanks

You can buy a fan remote at Home Depot, Lowe's,or Menard's basically any one of the big box stores. If they do not have the one used with your fan,you buy a universal remote. Follow the instructions in the box make sure you shut the power off as you may get shocked or burn up he control

When I push the on button to my hard drive nothing happens, could the on button have gone bad?

Button don't go bad. You probably have a short somewhere. I would try plugging everything out and then plugging everything back in again and dust the wires. Then try starting it up. If that fails, you want to open up the PC box and take a look inside. I would wiggle the plugged-in wires a little and look for loose wires. If that fails, then, you might have a problem with your power supply, which is the rectangular box with a fan inside. So like one scenario might be that dust collected slowed the fan which means that the power supply had higher temperature which could burn off one of the wires.

Where is the ac/heater fan fuse for 97 nissan pathfinder

the cooling fans on autos require a motor, a power wire , a fuse ..........and

relays. ( look under your hood for a black box with some 1 inch by 1 inch black square relays ) under the cover it will tell you what relay is for the fan.
u can take another relay out of the same relay box and test the fan circuit ( as long as the pins look the same and the relay looks the same
) and plug it in and see if that fixes the problem........if it does, go buy a new relay ( remember to put them back where you got them from)

its either a blown fuse, a bad relay, or the motor finally gave up. try the fuses and relays first

The radiator fans in my 1996 Plymouth Vogager is not functioning. The 40 Amp orange fuse for "radiator fan" in the power distribution center is in perfect shape. Is there any other fuse or relay to check...

Check the fuse box under the hood and under the dash, find the cooling fan relay or fuse. Sometimes there are relays mounted to the fan shroud itself. little black square plastic relay 1"x1" roughly. Look inside cover of fuse box for location or owners manuel. Check or replace the relay(s). Possible bad fan assembly though. Check for power.

I lost my Leviton 6230M 30 mins timer installation sheet.

Switch has 2 black wires. One black is hot wire. One black is wire going to fan. Turn off power. Remove wires from switch and separate. Turn power back on. Using ordinary tester, test each black wire to bare copper ground wire. Only one of the black wires will test hot. The other black wire goes to fan.
Timer black wire connects to black hot
Timer blue wire connects to black wire going to fan
Timer white wire connects to white neutral (in absence of white neutral, connect Timer white wire to bare ground)
Timer green connects to bare ground wire

Check under hood distribution box, left hand fender well, there is a relay inside, it is the fan relay, common for it to burn contacts and sometimes the wires in the box, pull and check. Hope this helps, let me know.

Would this work or burn out fans? Amps on one fan is 1.5 and the other is 5 amps I want to run a 12/2 wire from the panel and to the duplex switch and tie it into a 12/3 wire that goes to switch to...

Tell me what you are wanting to accomplish. Are you wanting to run each fan off a separate switch in the same duplex box? The reason I ask is because you are using 12/3 wire to the fans. If you are just going to have 2 switches then you are only going to have power to each fan from each switch. Therefore there is no need to run 12/3 wire. 12/2 is all that is needed and you would simply tie the fan and light wires to that one power source at the light/fan. Now if you are wanting to have a switch for the light and another switch for the fan at each location then that will take 4 switches. You can buy double stack switches and have 4 switches in a double gang box. Is this new construction or old? Please explain what you are wanting and I will be more than happy to explain how to wire it.

Lost remote to ceiling fan

Go to any hardware store and buy a replacement kit. You'll have to take down the fan (turn off the power first) and remove the black remote box from inside the cup covering all the wiring. Replace that with the new black box that came with the new remote. Make sure that the remote control and black box pins are set the same and reinstall your fan. Total time, probably 30-45 minutes plus a trip to the hardware store. Level of difficulty, moderately easy. Cost, probably $15 min to $40 max. Anything above $40 and you may as well replace the fan altogether. Note: Before you remove the original black box, check the pin settings and set the new hand remote to those settings. Turn on the power and try to turn on the light with the remote control (don't turn the fan on unless you totally reinstalled it) - if it works, you may not need to replace the black box.
