Printer will not print in color

Check your printer properties to make sure that it is not set on black printing only. Also check that the right color cartridge is installed correctly and is not damaged. Sometimes it is a defective cartridge but check other possibilities first. Defective cartridges are rare.

If there isn't a specific accessible program for the settings of your printer, open my computer and right click on your printer. This can also be done by opening the "Control Pannel" and selecting either "Hardware and Sound" on Vista and "Printers" an Vista classic view or Xp. There you should be able to find a colour managment setting. It sounds to me that your printer is set to "Black and White Only Default" or your colour managment is set to "Text Colour Only"
