Go to start on your PC then do a search for "charmap" then something should pop up in your searches that says "charmap" click on it for all the symbols you will ever need.

How do I send text message when it inputs letters I don't want?

You can get a keyboard app that will help eliminate this problem. My samsung phone's keyboard has a few keys with two symbols on it and when texting the wrong symbol always seemed to come up. There's probably a way around this but I didn't want to spend the time hunting for the answer so I looked for a virtual keyboard app and found one. I don't remember the name, but there were several out there. The one I got replaced the Samsung keyboard with a keyboard with single symbols on all the keys.

When texting how to inter mix letters with numbers?

When you are on the letters virtual keyboard and want to enter a number or a symbol, tap on the box marked '123' or '123Sym'. That brings up the numbers+symbols virtual keyboard. After entering the number(s) or symbol(s), tap on the box marked 'ABC'. That will bring back the letters virtual keyboard.

This afternoon my laptop was working fine, then the keyboard started messing up, when I pressed any letter it came up with 4 other letters. Then i pressed '9' once and it continuously typed 9 until I

First thing I would ask is this. Was anything spilled on the key board? I had a situation similar to this and I found that my son spilled a Sprite and wiped it up but didn't tell me about it. One way to check this is to hook an aftermarket keyboard that runs off your USB2 port and see if the keys work correctly that way. If they do, I would suspect that something was spilled into your laptop keyboard.

Extra symbols?

There are shortcuts, albeit usually Alt + a numeric sequence. Visit http://www.pcdon.com/page3.html for a full tutorial on the subject matter.

Hope this helps!

Keyboard typing extra letters >.<

Sounds like the windows key is stuck down, pressing start+r opens run, start+e opens explorer etc. The start key being the one between control and alt.

Keyboard will not work

Try this and see if this works for you. Touch Keypad simulates a wireless phone keypad on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols just as if you were using a wireless phone keypad. Touch Keyboard simulates a 20-key QWERTY (typewriter) keyboard on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols similar to the way you would using a QWERTY keyboard. To use Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard:  In a program, tap the Input Selector arrow, and then tap Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard. To type lowercase letters, tap the keys on the dial pad or keyboard. To type a single uppercase letter, tap the Shift key and then tap the corresponding key. To type all uppercase letters, tap the Shift key twice. To change back to all lowercase letters, tap again. To enter a space after the word, tap the Space key. To start a new line, tap the Enter key. To backspace and delete a single character in any input mode, press the Back key. To open the Symbol pad, tap the Symbol key. To change the input mode:  Tap the Input mode key to switch to a different input mode: XT9 (predictive), Multitap (abc), or Numeric (123).
Let me know if this works for you, if not let me know.

Types extra letters or symbols

suspect the drivers first, then go from there. update your drivers, then see if it corrects the problem.if not, then you need to start considering other options (keyboard fault, damaged keys,) etc. sometimes the most complex looking problems can be the drivers at fault. see how you get on first. but do persevere.
