Question about Samsung SGH-d807 Cellular Phone

Speaker not working properly

Sometimes when I receive a call, there is not audio, and sometimes I can get the sound to come when I slightly twist the phone. The same holds for using the mp3 player. Is there any way to clean the contacts that read when you slide it open? I think that may be part of the problem...

Your phone needs to have the microphone and speaker replaced, you can also upgrade the firmware on your phone all of which can be done by taking the phone to a mobile service center and have that done or a mobile tech that is close to you.

Unplug for 30 seconds unplug speaker cords.twist all wire ends together tightly for each set of wires.one little wire not twisted tightly with the rest can short out throwing receiver into surgery protection mode.plug receiver back in or reconnect it.test each wire set to see if external speaker wire issue.wire sets are twisted good you will know as each speaker will come back on.twistem tight soldier them or use liquid tape to keep connection working properly.use surge protector to protect unit receiver.

Pioneer receiver no sound

Check for badly connected/disconnected speaker cables and interlinks. Speaker cables must be properly twisted and connected to prevent short circuiting. I've provided an instruction video below:

If you are usiing windows, should checl Cotrol Panel, audio and sound device and verify is sound is bot on 0%. also should check in Advanced Properties if speaker not silenced. Sometimes Windows silences ithe computer without any apparent reason. Steps might be slightly different, depending o version of Windows.

sounds like the Audio patch cord, i had around 5 of them that do that ...sometimes i hear the music thru one speaker, cracking noise sometimes it works when the wire is twisted, but i would try a new patch cord first.....my patch cord worked fine on some stereo units others break up

No sound from speaker on the right with power led and digital audio port for tht SP08A11 speakers

Check the wires for tiny cuts. The Auxiliary cord on the speakers are most likely at fault

Only 2ch sound on sony strde898

I understand that you have tried connecting different audio source to the Receiver as some of the audio source will output only 2 channel audio. I hope you have tried changing the Input mode and Input selector to get the surround sound.
Please disconnect the speakers with the receiver and clean the edges of receiver and speaker cables using solution like alcohol and try.
If the issue persists, please interchange the rear speakers with front speakers and vice versa and check if audio is coming to make sure that the speakers are working fine.
If the audio comes after replacing the speakers but not from surround speakers, the receiver requires service.

I have a Denon AVR-488..Can you help?

Sounds like you may be clipping your speakers. Check all speaker connections and make sure they are not touching, at all. If you are not using speaker ends and are simply twisting the wire and connecting to the speakers, just one strand touching the other post will cause this. Good Luck

5.1 surround problem

Hi Zamorano,

sounds like your problem could be either with the wiring of your speakers, or the receiver. How long have you had them?

check the wiring going from the sub woofer to the speakers- do you see any creases or damaged (frayed) looking wires?if you fiddle with the wiring where it connects to the speakers or sub when you play music, do you hear the speakers act up? if so, you may have the problem right there. I'd also try fiddling with it where it connects to your soundcard, moving it, and twisting it *gently* to see if you experience the same.

if you at any time hear the speakers acting up when doing this, then you have your problem right there. (from there, you should considering purchasing replacement cabling. if the affected cords are permanently attached to the units, I'd recommend calling in to Logitech, and seeing what they can do about replacing them).

otherwise, it is most likely a receiver problem, which you would also have to call Logitech for repairs/replacement.

Hope this helps!
