Question about DVD/Blu-ray Drives
When I play a DVD through my Sony VAIO laptop with Windows Vista, I plug an S-video cord into my TV and laptop. The picture is great, but the sound is only coming from my laptop. How do I get sound from the TV?
you need to connect your TV to your laptop with the audio cable as well. A simple S video cable will only gives you video. You can buy a simply audio video cable and use the audio output from your laptop to your TV and keep on using the S video for video.
Or you can use simple external laptop speakers to gives you sound with your TV output.
Hope that helped!
