If your incoming calls are going to messages and the volume is lower than usual, it could be due to a problem with the phone settings. Try checking the volume settings on the phone, and make sure the volume is not turned down too low. Additionally, you may need to check the settings for your phone's voicemail, and make sure that your voicemail is not set to kick in after a certain amount of time. If these settings don't help, then you may need to contact your phone's manufacturer for further assistance.
When you are talking to someone, you can increase or decrease the incoming voice through Volume key. Press the volume Up to increase volume.
Remember volume will increase or decrease only if you ore on a call.
Send your phone to service, my nokia is dead too, so far 6 friends that have NOKIA TOUCH mobiles 5230, 5530 and 5800 all of them lasted around 6-8 months before the sound from incoming calls is very low with all the settings on volume set on high.
Things that will NOT fix the problem: Reseting phone, isntall up to date software.

I have the reverse problem. Callers can hardly hear me.
I saw a setting in the headunit that allows you to specify where the audio plays for incoming calls. You can choose the Left Front Speaker, the Right Front Speaker or Both. Check the manual and make sure its set to both.

Charlie
Have you tried this? With the phone open, using the side key next to the charging port to adjust your volume then pushing OK to set it before closing the phone.
