Question about American Standard Town Square Two Lever Handle Widespread Lavatory Faucet
The following link is the installation instructions for your faucet.
Basically, what you need to do is gently pry the cap (with the hot/cold indicator) off the top of the handle. This will expose a screw-head, that you tighten to fix the looseness or loosen to remove the handle. If it's the other part of the handle that's loose (the bit that sticks out sideways rather than the whole handle). I've attached a diagram of how that is attached.
