First check out if the hybernate option in the OS is on. If on then turn it off and then check.

you could have accidently changed to external monitor with Fn +F(the number is 8 on my comp but could be 5 on yours-check keys on top of the keyboard it has a picture rectangle / little TV), anyways to check that attach external monitor to your laptop(must have a VGA cable) if you have a picture on external monitor try Fn + F(depends on what you have on ur keyboard) it should bring you a window with choices to choose laptop LCD or external LCD choose 1st one .
hope that is it.

My monitor shuts down and i have to shut down the computer and bring it back up in the f8 key can you tell me if it could be in the cord on the monitor and if so how much would it cost to get a new cord it...

No it's not in your cord. It lies in the drivers for your monitor. Often times updates come through for your security and for your hardware. A lot of these updates can misconfigure your hardware drivers upon the reboot. You should be able to get the correct fix for this by going to the FAQ's in the Microsoft site.Or, if by the small chance you still have the install disc for your monitor, this would be a good time to run it. You might also try restoring back to the day when you last recall the monitor working well in the "System restore" section of your control panel.

rewire the subs-each sub you want in series=8 ohms per sub-then at the amp wire the two 8 ohm subs in parallel which brings the ohms back down to 4 ohms which is optimal for the amp and it shouldnt shut down on you any more-try that-good luck

HP vs17e My screen went black for a few moments and when it

Switch off and on your PC and hold down the F5 key and this should bring up your PC in Safe Mode. If this fails, then find a PC repair shop to replace the power supply.

Hp laptop black screen but running in background

I have to know if you changed the display resolution settings. If so, boot the laptop to safe mode (tap the F8 key after you turn it on). Go to Start > Control Panel > Display and select the settings tab. Try changing the resolution to 1024 x 768 and see if that will bring everything back to good order.

Good luck, and feel free to rate this advice.
