Question about Dryers
My Amana Gas Dryer, heats when it is initially turned on and then the heat quits after about 10 minutes but the dryer continues to tumble. I have check the venting which is about the only thing the users manual suggests.
It's doing what it's supposed to do. you should use a different setting.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
