Re: wireless internet

Fax machines traditionally use analog phone lines to send their data and Wireless Internet being digital is probably not compatible. However of you provide the model of the Lexmark Fax Machine I will try to see if it is wireless internet compatible.

Bsnl internet is very slow in dlink dwm 156

So, If you have internet connection speed problem with your wireless try with the following steps,
1.) Reset the wireless router by using the power switch on it or by unplugging it and plugging it back in.
2.)Place the wireless router in an ideal location. The higher it is, the better, but don't put it near metal objects.
3.)Get as close as possible to the router with whatever device you're trying to connect.
4.)Keep the router and your connecting device away from other electronics. You should especially keep away from phones, fax machines and microwaves. etc.,
5.)Adjust the Wifi antenna if it has one.
6.)Change the router's channel, especially if other wireless routers are nearby.
Following these steps would give you stable internet connection and also increased speed in connection. You can check your internet speed from before and after following these steps.

What is the difference between an adapter and router?

A router is a device that normally will be connected to the modem which gets the internet connection from the modem & gives out a wireless signal.

An adapter is a device that will be connected to the computer. This is a wireless receiver which receives the wireless signal from the wireless router & connectes to internet.

Hi I Have Problem

Hi Andy,

The WAN port on your Aztech DSL600EW (by default) is configured to be automatically assigned an IP address when connected to a cable modem (Motorola). Connect the WAN port of the Aztech DSL600EW to the Ethernet port of the Motorola, then configure the Aztech for wireless connectivity to your laptop as per the manual instructions.

Wireless Problem

Hi, it may be that you need to set/unset/reset your proxy settings and/or internet gateway. With either firefox or ie, it is normally in tools/option/connection. Please let me know if this works out for you or you need further assistance. Regards.
