Question about GoVideo VR3845 DVD Recorder/VCR
My sisters rented a dvd from blockbuster and watched it but they left the dvd in our go.video dvd player. when the dvd was a few weeks late i tried to get it out to return it and the dvd player wont even turn on for me to open it. Please help me.
On some units there is a slot or hole in the bottom of the unit, under the dvd side, that lets you open the tray by turning or sliding a gear or lever. Do not turn the unit upside down or the disc will fall out of the tray and into the unit. If there is no hole, take the cover off and there may be a pulley with a belt or a gear that can be turned to release the disc. There are 3-4 screws that hold the dvd mechanism in place, if all else fails, remove them and lift the mechanism out, be careful not to damage any cables. Some times the tray face will not fit through the face plate so the face will have to come off with the dvd mechanism, the face usually just snaps on.
