Found it through trial and error. Do NOT use the Set button (3). Make sure the radio is switched off but with the time showing on the display. Use the Disp button in combination with buttons 1 & 2 (H & M) to change the time.

Thanks a lot. On my Toyota Avanza 2006, the DISP button is the same button for AM-FM.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

I can change the time on radio clock but it just stays on that time

I had this problem after a main dealer repair that required the battery to be disconnected for a couple of hours. I put i right by leaving the battery disconnected for 12 hours until all the memory including radio presets had cleared. After reconnecting it returned to normal. I t may take yours longer or less time but the radio presets clearing seems to indicate it will restore the clock.

Trying to change the time on the clock on the radio how do i do it or can someone send me pages from the manual to show how , email the car is actually a 2001 toyota echo but there...

Do you mean the original clock on the dash?
if that is all you have to do is: use a pointed pen to press the hour, then the minute. Better still simply press the 'set' button before you adjust the clock.

Radio clock

It will tell you how to do so in the owner's manual, usually located in the glove box. If you don't have a copy, you can register over at the Toyota site and download one for free.

Clock problem

Hi Ido,

- turn the tape deck/radio off.
- then press 'mode' on the display
- use the 'arrow keys' to set the time
- up and down - change figure
- left and right - select minutes/hours
- press 'trip' to return back to normal

Hope this helps,
