Question about Kenmore 84052 Dryer
My dryer will turn on and will (some times) get warm but not very hot. I replaced the ignitor switch on it last year. What could be the problem know?
I would consider checking the high limit thermostat. This small round device is mounted on a metal plate and is usually attached to the internal ductwork. It can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. It should have none. I will attach a photo of a typical thermal cutoff and high limit thermostat for reference. Sure hope this helped and sorry for your trouble. Best wishes.

Tips for a great answer:
Mar 02, 2013 | Kenmore Dryers
Kenmore 80 Series of dryers are consumer grade dryers for home use. As
with most home appliances, the Kenmore 80 series dryers will
occasionally not work as intended. If a problem occurs with your dryer,
however, you do not necessarily need it serviced by a technician. You
can attempt to troubleshoot and fix any problems with your dryer before
contacting a technician.
