SOURCE: I have an electrolux icon

yes, if the humming is not the loud sound then the fan may need some lubrication or if it is tripping the circuit it will need replacing , but if it seems like it is a viberating noise from the fan , then it could be that its bearings are bad , but the whole fan motor would still need to be replaced , but if it sounds like it just may be a loose fan motor , then tightening up the screws on the motor would stop the vibrating sound and or the fan blades from scraping metal( another sound you may be hearing )

I've never done this, but I would normally say yes, it's not going to be easy, especially if you've never done it, but depending on what you have to replace, it might not be as bad as you think. Here is Sear's site with diagrams of your oven:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Electrolux-Parts/Wall-oven-Parts/Model-EW30EW65GS5/1412/0125300?pathTaken=
In the diagrams, the upper oven should have the parts you need. Not having the oven in front of me, I'm unsure of the exact part you're going to replace, but these diagrams should give you the part number, and hints as to taking the unit apart.
A service manual would be helpful, but perhaps you won't need one if you study the diagrams well. Sears might have the manual available, if you need it. Here is Sear's support site, where you can chat with a tech, if you have to. They often know the answer:
http://services.sears.com/repair
Good luck, hope this helps you, and thanks for using FixYa.

How do I stop an Electrolux double oven displaying a code F10 from beeping.

To cancel the F10 error, you need to unplug the oven or shut it off at the circuit breaker. Usually this error means that the oven is detecting a runaway temperature. Either the RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensor probe, the electronic oven (EOC) or the wiring is faulty.

You can check which one is bad by testing the resistance. The RTD sensor is on the back wall of the oven near the top of the cavity. It's somewhat easier to check the wire at the EOC. Unplug the connector and measure the resistance between the two wires. The resistance should be about 1100 Ohms in a room temperature environment. If you get the incorrect resistance, remove the sensor from the oven and check the resistance at the sensor. If you get the same faulty reading at the sensor and at the EOC, the sensor is probably bad. If the resistance is 1100 Ohms at the sensor, the wiring is bad. If the resistance is correct at all points, the EOC needs to be replaced.

Please add a comment with your oven's model number. I will try to find a source with the correct parts. I hope this helps.

I'm getting a f24 code on my lower wall oven...what to do?

Hi. Error code F24 indicates that the controller has failed to communicate with the lower convection fan and oven lights control board. If the error code persists, I would recommend connecting with an expert repair tech to assist further and the display board may need replacing.

Electrolux oven racks how do they go in oven?

Hi Friend, that's a great question!

I see that your post is listed under Electrolux Wall-Oven. May I have your model number please? You can normally find the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the front of the oven, on the left side, as you open the door. With this material I can provide you the correct instructions on how to place the racks in your Electrolux wall-oven. Thank you! - Z

Double wall oven F0 error code

Hello,

The F0 error code means that the control board has detected a defect within the control board itself, the F0 code can be cleared by pushing the CANCEL/OFF button and if it goes away and returns all is well, however if a short time later the F0 returns the control board would need to be replaced.

Hi
This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the sensor is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue start by checking the oven temp. sensor for 1100 ohms, if the rating is more then that then check the control board however, as the issue is only with upper oven it is most likely that the temperature sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

The reset button goes off and the oven wont heat up. This has happened twice.

If the reset is in the machine then check the cavity fan. It must run to keep the cavity cool.
