Sony ericsson c902 - predictive text: display of options problem
Sony ericsson c902 - predictive text still works but recently when starting to type a word, the drop down list of suggested words has disappeared (the drop down box still pops up but you can't read the words within) so i can't see which word i am choosing. In addition, the option that would be activated by pressing the middle action key is no longer shown on the display - the bottom centre of the phone where it would previously have said 'Yes' or 'Send' etc no longer shows anything, though pressing the button still has the same effect (so, when sending a text message, for example, I still press the middle action key to send it but I no longer have the on-screen prompt to tell me that is the send button)

When you want to import a new contact, you start writing the name, if both T9 and letters abd are shown on the screen, you simply press the star button * until T9 is removed
This is very easy
If your in your text message box you should be able to click the # or * sign and you can see the icon on the top change T9 to A once you see A then its no longer predictable text.
The usual way for most phones is to start to create a new message and hold down the hash key (#-find under number 9), this will usually switch predictive texteing. Or start a new msg, open up menu options and search for T9 or predicitive texting in there.
Took me a while to work out. Hold down the hash key (bottom right on the keypad) when in the text window and select English from the languages that come up.
Create a new message on your phone. On the blank page that appears and provides the space for you to compose the message, press and hold down for a couple of seconds the * (star) key. The T9 dictionary option (i.e. text prediction) will be again enabled.
