Question about Toshiba Satellite 1905-S301 Notebook
When you press the power button and nothing - I mean absolutely nothing - happens, and if your indicator panel is showing that it is plugged in, then it's a dead power button board. Period.
This is a common problem with the 1905 series.

Uh? NOT that simple for me
if it is flashing yellow, or amber collered on the far left LED it is a code
if it flashes <short-short-LONG...short-short-LONG...short short> repeating
it is failure to start up.
it may mean your AC/DC power controler has "burnt out" if you make advances where I am here are some bread crumbs...but if you suceed, I charge you in The LORD's love to inform others.

Unplug you laptop, remove your battery and the harddrive. Put them back in and it will come back to life. I had to do this several times last thursday for a customer. It works.
