Goto a memory website such as Crucial.com or Newegg.com and specify your model laptop, and puchase some memory.
Its most likely a 2.5inch laptop EIDE hard drive.
If you wanted to clone the old hard drive to a new one, you would need a 2.5/3.5 IDE to USB adapter.
And a copy of some type of Clone software, such as Symantec/Norton Ghost. If you do not want to buy any, check here for 5 free different apps which allow you to clone your old hard drive to a new one.
