Check your printer ink cartridge.

If the ink level are low please replace it with a new ink cartridge.

You might have selected the wrong profile for your preferences. Go to printer properties and select defaults for all. This will solve your problem. If still facing problem comment back.

Epson wf-2530 - cyan is printing out as a pale pink even after inserting a new cartridhe

My suggestion is to pull the cartridges check your ink collector pad. This is where the extra ink gets wiped from the cartridges as it goes by. make sure that the pad is not pooling up check the bottoms of your cartridges and wipe them clean also and do a quick cleaning inside if you see any extra dust, ink etc.. just wipe it clean. then power your printer off and back on again and see if that helps. Hope it does the trick for you.

Printer will only print purple

on a colour printer, black is mixed with the other colours. Try printing a black and withe photo and you always get a colour cast. If your black cartridge is empty or the nozzles are blocked, you get bad colour and fussy prints.
test all nozzles, like is explained in the manual.
Check, if you know how to do, if nothing fell in the printer, that is now on the print head. Sometimes just dust or paper scraps are picked up by the printhead, making it difficult for the printer to print a normal page.

Hi when I print out in colour on the epson aculaser c1100, I get a smudge of yellowish pale colour on the right handside of the paper how do we fix this problem

Click here for the manuel. It will walk you through cleaning the cartriges. In most cases using the built in self-clean will take care of the smudge. You can also try removing the cartige and cleaning it and the housing with a damp q-tip or cotton swab.

Did you replace the tri-colour ink-cartridge, or did you replace the print-head mechanism?

Are you sure that the CYAN part of the ink-cartridge is not empty?

Replaced cartridges

keep cleaning untill it starts to print clearly, you may reuse the same paper for that purpose, if you don't see any progress after 10 cleans, consider getting lasser printers, they are immune to print head drying and save alot of money on ink replacements. go with brother color or black and white series. I switched and don't have problems anymore

Dirty output on smooth colours

Ok need a little more specifications :) after researching the product a bit there seems to be a few variables. Such as if you are using the Splash server, Fiery Server or the Matchprint Professional server.

This is the link to the support page for your product
http://www.support.xerox.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?LBound=1@31,St=322,E=0000000001440901325,K=8114,Sxi=5,t=Browse.tem,varset=CFROM:31

what i could find is that it sounds like you will have to perfrom a colour calibration for the printer to correct the colour issues. Once again the instructions vary depending on the server your using.

This link is to the "how to perform a colour calibration" section for your printer

http://www.support.xerox.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=24,E=0000000001440901835,K=8114,Sxi=9,UseTemplate=Browse.tem,Remove=All,Problem=obj(8226),Query=%22%22,VARSET_RestrictFolderSearch=Perform_Color_Calibration_DC12

you will have tofind the correct entry that matches the tool set that you are using.

Best of luck

White lines in print--looks like pinstripes

I asked the technician at Staples what he thought and he thought it was the ink cartridge. since I was using 3in1 cartridges and it was expensive to buy two; (1) Black with pale magenta and blue plus (2)red blue and yellow,we bought a new printer that uses one colour only cartidges so we can replace one colour at a time and also use a pale blue and pale magenta to get better reproductions. for a little more than double the price we bought an Hp printer Photosmart C7280 on sale with single cartridges. It will pay off, They are a fraction of the cost of 3in1 colours.
