First of all check out the fuse in the tv.if the fuse is blown the tv will not come ON.the fuse is located on the main board.the cost of fuse is $1 and you can get it from any local electronic shop or online at www.radioshack.com ----------- but if the fuse is not faulty then its a major problem of power supply. You actually have two issues to contend with, one of the is a problem with the DM module the other is with the Convergence amplifiers.

1)Both of these are power supply affecting. Here is the basic and generic method of taking care of the convergence IC issue:

2) take the back off of the TV and unplug it

3) Find the STK392-110's (They are two large black modules located on a big silver heatsink#

4) locate the biasing resistors of the two STK392-110's .

5) Remove the board containing the STK392-110's and using a soldering iron and a desoldering pump, desolder that amplifiers and unscrew the screws holding them to the heat sink, you should be able to remove them from the board now.

6) desolder and remove the biasing resistors.

7) after removing the old resistors and amplifier modules clean the heat sink with alcohol # taking off the old heat sink paste.#

8) put heat sink paste on the back of the metal surface of the amplifiers and install the metal leads into the proper pads of the circuit board, and making sure to line the holes of the amplifier module up with the heat sink screw holes and screw the amplifiers in place. Once that is done, solder the leads in place #for both amplifier modules).

9) find the proper biasing resistors and put them into the pads of the circuit board and solder them into place leaving clearance for air flow under the resistor #install with the same lead length as the old resistors.

10 ) after all components are soldered in, make sure there are no solder bridges on the soldered area and that all solder joints are shinny #this assures that there are no cold solder joints on the PCB #Printed Circuit Board)).

11) make a second pass on looking at your soldering work making sure there are no solder bridges or cold solder joints.

12) reinstall the board.

13) do the prescribed convergence setup in the schematic and service manual #static and dynamic), set the adjustments in memory according to the service manual.

Now for the other problem the DM module:

1) remove the DM module board from the tv, and locate the filter board in the DM module, and look at the capacitors, if they are puffy and or bloated, replace them with like values.

2) reinstall the DM module and power on the set.

This should take care of this issue.

Thank you,
------------ if you are not familiar with using soldering irons.and multimeter.a local tc technicians help is advisable. -------- thanks.please keepupdated.please do rate the solution if helped.thank you for using fixya.

Hi,
Some Projection tv has a small round fuse in the back inside by the power cord. This fuse may be blown out. Before removing the back cover be safe and unplug the TV. Also if the inside is dusty take a duster and blow some of the dust out.
Thanks
Smith.

TV Turns on (Blue Light) and then turns off but there is no imagae or sound of Tv Turning On! Nor Backlights turning on!

Sounds like there's a short in the power somewhere. I'd start with unplugging it then checking to make sure all cables and/or cords are properly connected (i.e. make sure there are no loose cords anywhere)

My samsung keep turning off.

The turning off problem is just a symptom.

The turning off is the protection circuit shutting down the TV because a problem inside the tv is detected.

The TV must be tested to find the problem.
