I have window vista operating system ,3000-g-430 modal no.,
when i press o it comes 6
u then 4
i then 5

You have activated the Num Pad. Look for the NumLk key , that is one of the function keys at the top of the keyboard, and disable numeric pad to get back to normal.

You have hit the number lock key by accident.

Press FN + NUM LCK and that will return your keyboard to normal.

I suggest trying the following methods to troubleshoot the issue:


Method 1: Startup Repair from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE)

============================================

1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc into the disc drive, and then start the computer.

2. Press a key when the message indicating "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD ...". appears.

3. Select a language, a time and currency, and a keyboard or input method, and then click Next.

4. Click Repair your computer.

5. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, choose the drive of your Windows installation and click Next.

6. At the System Recovery Options Dialog Box, click on Repair your computer.

7. Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.

8. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Startup Repair.


Method 2: Rebuild BCD

1. Put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.

Installation of windows vista


Hi,

Follow below steps

1. Insert the Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive in your computer and restart the system
2. Before booting up again, Press F2 or F8 depending on the type of mother board you have or press the button as per the bootup display to open up the boot menu.
3. select the DVD drive at the boot menu.
4. Now the Computer will boot from the DVD with Vista OS.
5. Go for the Custom install option and select C drive for install. or if there is no partition available, the disk can partitioned there itself.
6. folow the wizard and here you go. Vista is installed in your system now.

Acer 5920 vista page fault in a non paged a blue warrning page



Hi there, please restart your laptop when its booting press F8 key . You will find few option asking for selection. Select that by using up/down arrow key. Select " Last know good configuration" & press Enter. Next page asking for selecting operating system, for example: windows vista or Windows XP etc. Just select the operating system & press Enter again. ( Hope your laptop showing only one operating system ). Your laptop will start normally. If again that's blue error screen come then remove the RAM, clean it by soft napkin, Fix it back on ram slot & on power button. If nothing changes then format the Operating system & reinstall again.

hmm you need to change the keyboard layout language, in control panel language settings, change it to your current location.

either that or its a faulty keyboard.

Soundcard not working after having upgrades from Window XP to Windows Vista


You need to update or reinstall the driver for the sound card.Your computer manufacturer support and drivers will have your driver for the sound card if its OEM with your computer. Just enter your computer modal number And operating system find the right driver and install as instructed. If you have a problem let me know make and modal of computer and sound card if not OEM. and I will try to find the driver. Please rate me mysleuth

I put the computer on and it says tht an error occured while attempting to read boot it and the error code is 0x000000f and it was my daughters christmas box please can u help.

Uninstall the deepfreeze in vista


  • Booting Computer From CD use Windows XP Installer
  • After coming up with part to Enter Setup, Press Enter then F8 and await some moment
  • then selected R to repair Windows ( Repair Setup)
  • Hereinafter continue Install windows untill finish.
    1. Now prepare the Deepfreeze v.6 of and double click
    2. will appear “Uninstall Deepfreeze” windows and process uninstall till finish.
    3. Done……
  • In this time i still not known more effective way to remove DeepFreeze 6.0. if there is a way of more effective please share here… icon_biggrin.gif
