Question about Vizio Televison & Video
When you unplug the TV and leave it unplugged for an hour or more the TV will reset itself back to the original factory standards. I will check on the firmware upgrade if you will provide be the serial number and the model number that is on the tag on the back of the TV close to where the power cord is attached. When the TV is coming on and turning back off it is due to the safety circuitry in the TV detecting a problem and shutting the TV down. Actually constantly trying to start the set can cause additional damage if the problem is component related and in time the TV will fail to operate. I suspect firmware problems. These TV sets have circuitry in them similar to a computer. If the software get corrupt the firmware needs to be re installed.
