Normally you could not delete songs directly on you ipod touch, you should erase it from you Itunes library then sync with the Ipod touch, it should be deleted when the sync is finished.
The complete steps are :-
1. Plug in your iPod
2. Open iTunes
3. Click Music under your iPod
4. You should see a list (That looks kinda like an iTunes library) but it has all of the songs on your iPod.
5. Click on the song you want to delete
6. Now press the delete button on your keyboard
7. A message should pop up saying "Are you sure you want to delete this song from your iPod?" click yes.
*Make sure you click the Music button on the little side bar that's underneath your iPod.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Nov 15, 2011 | Apple iPod touch
Go onto your ipod touch's "Settings" app and scroll down to the "General" button and tap it. Then scroll down to the "Reset" button and tap it. Next tap the "Reset All Settings" button and hopefully that will fix your iPod Touch's problems.
Note: Don't tap the "Erase All Content and Settings" button because it will do what the name says.
