Unable to clean

It says "unable to clean" and I have followed all the muser guide instructions several times over but to no avail. Any other tips or do I have to scrap it?

This is very common on Brother MFCs - they self clean excessively and when they've done a set number of self-cleans, they refuse to print and give the error message you quote.

There is a work around - you can reset the self-clean counter - but this carries a small risk the waste ink from cleaning that is normally stored insde the machine in a tank/sponge MAY leak out. I've done the work around on my Brother MFC and, so far, no leakage so if I were you I'd take a punt.
Just Google "brother mfc unable to clean" and somewhere in the results will be how to reset the counter - it's all done from the keyboard so no tools required.

Why is my portable dvd player is reading no disc when disc is in?

Over time the laser pickup becomes weaker until it is unable to read a disc. Try a dvd cleaning kit and follow instructions, or get a Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol and gently clean the lens, allow several minutes to dry. If this fails cheaper to replace the player.

Here is a tip that I wrote about the Paslode nailers and the problems that can come up with them.

I also have a link to the Paslode manuals which contain Paslode cleaning and troubleshooting guides.

If you need parts for your Paslode, there also is a link for a site that sells the Paslode nailer parts.

Will not reconize the disc

You have two options:
1.Get a cleaning disc if this is available to you.follow instructions that came with the disk.insert it like normal disk and let is play for a few seconds the eject button to open the disc compartment and look for the otical head(looks like a miniature eye). carefully roll a samm a piece of tissue to have a pointed tip and immerse the tip only in water. run the tip on the surface of the eye several times taking care not to lleave any particles on the eye. leave to dry and reinsert the disc. plaese reply if this works for you.
