White line on screen easynote mv35-202

I have a problem with the screen on my easynote mv35-202. A white line has appeared about three inches from the right hand side of the screen. It changes colour from red to blue depending on what angle I tilt the screen. How can I remove this?

Hi,
It looks like that the ribbon cable connected on the logicboard to your screen is the one that is causing the issue. What you should do is to have it checked by the manufacturer (Gateway) if it still has warranty and if it doesn't have you should take it to a nearest service center that would be able to open the computer and check if the ribbon is loose or damage.
