If one of your hobby if to fix things including electronic stuffs... well, I guess you can fix it on your own... just remember to arrange and remember where those screws and parts are supposed to be... then use at least 30W soldering gun or soldering iron and a "lead" to fix those connectors..

good luck!!! ;)

Hi everyone. I'm having an issue with my samsung

sounds like you need to change the 'power options' in the 'control panel'.

start--> control panel -->power options

or just use windows search for 'power options'

there are settings where you can change how it acts when plugged in vs on battery. There are usually options to lock brightness.

Firing order Datsun 710 (4cyl. L20B engine)

Remove the rocker cover.
Turn the engine until it's at TDC on No.1
Both No.1 rockers should be loose.
Remove distributor cap and look where rotor is pointing, this is No.1 plug lead.

Finding it hard to put leads back on to motherboard to boot up

From the motherboard number you gave, I think it's made by ECS. Take a look at the picture on this page at the ECS site and see if it looks like your board:

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?CategoryID=1&DetailID=530&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=52&LanID=0

If it's the one you have, you can download the manual just by clicking the link below the picture. You can also get any other information and driver updates that you might need.

Please take a moment to give this solution a good rating if it's been helpful.

HP Notebook not powering up

First, try powering the Notebook by pressing the Quickplay button as if the issue is with the Power Button, it should start.
You need to get the Power Button of the Notebook repaired if the Notebook starts by pressing the QuickPlay button.
However, if the issue is different and the notebook doesnot start by pressing the Quickplay button, I recommend you to try removing the RAM of the Notebook and try with One RAM stick at a time to boot the Notebook and also by checking the Memory sticks in both the Memory Slots.
You can find the required instructions to remove and replace the RAM modules in the Notebook from the Manual of the Notebook which is available through the link below :
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00737799.pdf

You can find the required instructions starting from page number 104 of 233 in the Manual.
However, if the issue persists, it can be a Hardware issue for which you may have to get it repaired.
Additionally, I would like to inform you that HP had identified some hardware issues with few Notebooks installed with AMD Processors and is providing free repairs for notebooks purchased and currently available in US and Canada.
You need to get the Product Number of the Notebook which is indicated with P/N and is printed on a white sticker pasted at the bottom of the Notebook.
Check if the Product Number of your Notebook is listed in the list available in the link below :
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c01300427
If your Notebook product Number is listed in the link provided above and if the Notebook is installed with AMD Processor, you need to contact HP Chat Support and provide the required details and get the Notebook repaired by HP for free.
You can find more information about this repair offered by HP from the link below :
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?docname=c01087277&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
You can contact HP Chat Support for DV6000 Notebooks preinstalled with AMD Processor by clicking on this Link.

HP Pavilion DV notebook wont boot up

First of all, if you are getting 1 short and 2 long beeps, the graphic card of the Notebook might have failed. Get the Notebook repaired by HP if under warranty.

However, if your Notebook is installed with AMD processor, it is having a known issue and can get it repaire for free if purchased in US and the related information is available from the link below :
