Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
The ink absorber is inside the printer generally on the bottom where the carriage carrier moves.
it is not enough just to replace it, a counter needs to be reset.
Using mptool Software to reset Canon MP150
You will have to open up the printer to get to the waste ink pads, remove them from the printer (use gloves the pads will be full of ink) and clean them as much as you can and let them dry for a day or two. Place the old ones back in the machine and reset the counter with the tool.
or you can look for a new set of ink pads. Here are kits for canon printers http://www.printerservicecentre.com/product.php?cat=96889.96920&lang=en
