I don't know where to find the "switches" you mentioned ...or the "jumper settings" you have mentioned. I also do not know the name of the manufacturer of the HD in the Wolverine.

I know not the location of the fixes described in the associated text. Can you help me with a clearer explanation than the one I have been previously given.

    Thank you

The afore mentioned message comes when I try to ACCESS the secure section. It just refuses to give me the page wherein I am able to use the finger identifier OR the password. As I mentioned earlier, I DO have access to the non-secure side of the 4160 Wolverine

This error message appear when there is any kind of Hardware conflicts.
Open the Device Manager by typing the "devmgmt.msc" in the Run dialog box then select the Wolverine hard drive under the "Disk Drives" category.

Right click on the Wolverine hard drive then select "Properties". In the "Properties" window, click on the "Advanced" settings tab then check for the transfer mode and try changing the transfer mode.

Is this error message coming when you are trying to install software from disc? If yes, then try the following steps:

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and then press ENTER.

The Device Manager dialog box opens.
  3. Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. A subset will open, listing the different IDE ATA/ATAPI channels for the computer.
  4. Right-click the channel where the CD drive is connected, and then click Properties. Typically, this channel is Secondary IDE Channel.

Warning Do not change the Primary IDE Channel, Device 0, because this is typically the system disk. Changing this transfer mode setting may cause the computer to operate incorrectly or not at all.
  5. On the Advanced Settings tab, select PIO Only in the Transfer Mode box for the device that represents the CD drive. Typically, this is Device 0. Then, click OK.
  6. Test the CD in the CD drive.

How to protect a mobile app and ensure user data privacy

After Edward Snowden case, the entire world became highly concerned about mobile app security and user data privacy. Especially it concerns mobile messengers with multiple user communications, data views, hacks, and so on.

For example, in 2016 WhatsApp popular messenger decided to fully encrypt the app and provide the complete protection by adding the end-to-end encryption (E2EE).

A bit later Viber also came to E2EE implementation, making it impossible for anyone (including themselves) to even view user information.

End-to-end is the system, in which devices transmit encrypted information to each other without third-party participation. Thus, the communication is direct, there are no intermediaries, and all the information, involving messages, calls, images, and video, is completely encrypted. Only those users who participate in the chat (one-to-one chats, group chats) will be able to read the messages.

It is based on public key encryption, working based on two keys - public and private. The first key (public) is used for encrypting messages and the second (private) - for their decryption.

An advantage is that a public key can be freely distributed, so everyone to whom a user gives your public key, can send an encrypted message. And since only he / she has a private key, only he / she can decrypt a message.

Find out more about E2EE and the ways to successfully encrypt a mobile app.

Hello

This is a suggestion, so you can try this and let me know what happens.

The thin is, Mac and windows PC's use different file systems, hence, i would suggest that you format the card on your windows PC, and see if the problem persists.

Let me know, i will gladly assist.

Kind regards

After installing a program, when I try to launch the app I receive the follwing error message: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed.

More than likely the CD ROM might be scratched and it didn't install correctly or if it's a program where you have to keep the CDROM in the drive for the application to start, it might not be able to read that portion of the disk. More information is below, Officially from Microsoft on the subject.

This error message indicates a problem with trying to read or write to a device, such as a hard disk, CD drive, or network drive. This issue may occur for any of the following reasons:
  • Windows is trying to use a transfer mode that the CD drive cannot use.
  • The hardware that you are trying to access is damaged or failing.
  • The device drivers for the hardware are faulty or incompatible.
  • There is a connection problem, such as a bad cable.
  • The CD that you are trying to access is damaged.
This information came off of Microsoft's Knowledge Base and more information and troubleshooting can be found here:

UNABLE TO ACCESS KINGSTON 1GB USB

the laptop /desktop u r looging in to ur log on id should have admin rights.
If u have admin rigts then with the kingston u must have got an exe where u should be able to set public and private zone.
public zone can be access by any one but the provate zone requires password.

Once u click the exe u should be presented by the slider and password to set the public and private zone ..... Be careful if u r sliding it then this may result in data loss .
This is how u adjust whether u want public or private.
Slide it all the way and make it public and log off.

Disk not recognized

for the first solution, disconnect the IDE cable, and then reconnect it firmly, incase that the cable somehow has become loose. if that still does not work, you can take out the drive, and change the jumper to "cable select."
