If you are using Airtel then use the following: Name Mobile Office IP address 202.56.231.117 Proxy Enable Proxy port 8080 APN airtelgprs.com Others you can give any values. If some other service provider then ask their helpline and set them up manually.

When I save a new gprs setting, it shows a msg as memory full.......or 'no more than 70 sets allowed.

Welcome to FixYa!
To be able to save the new GPRS settings, you need to free some space. GPRS settings occupies a significant amount of space and can only be saved in PHONE MEMORY.
Free some memory space by deleting text messages, pictures and mp3's in your phone memory or transfer it to your memory card.
Thank you for using FixYa. Have a great day. Jas247.

Have NOKIA 5300. I have airtel prepaid connection with GPRS activated. I connect my PC with mobile & surff net. But when I want to save web settings (GPRS) , it shows a message "Only 70 sets...

Instead of trying to set your new web settings-whilst in this screen go to 'show web settings'then view all your settings on your system.
If you already have your full 70 settings then delete some in order to save your chosen settings.

Check first if any are duplicated then delete those first.
Then view remaining strings/web settings and decide which settings you do not require.

...............................................BEFORE YOU DELETE ANY....................copy these strings onto a piece of paper in case you need to re-install any afterwards if GPRS plays up and you need to revert back again.

Nokia 6300 cannot receive configuraton settings only 70 sets can be saved find a solution

Hi sohail_srk20,

Each time you change the SIM card onto the phone, GPRS settings are automatically saved in the phone memory. Your phone can save only 70 sets of GPRS settings and the 70 empty lots are used now. So now when you change the SIM, you automatically receive settings, and they cant be saved because the GPRS settings memory is full. Hence you get the message.

Follow the steps below to remove the settings:
1) Go to MENU > SETTINGS > CONFIGURATION > DEFAULT CONFIGURATION SETTINGS.

2) You'll see the list of GPRS settings saved on your phone in this page.

3) Select each of the settings you want to remove by selecting OPTIONS > DELETE.

Next time you change back to another SIM card, the settings are saved in the empty lots you just created. Once they become full, the same message shows up again.

If this information was helpful, please rate it.

Thank you for using fixya,
